Three for a Memorial Day BBQ

the sun is shining in chicago and the forecast is perfect for this weekend (finally)! what better way to kick-off the summer season than with a memorial day bbq with friends & family. here's what we'll be cooking up...

i've been shopping at green city market on saturday mornings -

the asparagus is great right now and super easy to throw on the grill!

Tried & Tested

after testing many hair products through the years- we find ourselves always coming back to kerastase products. we all go to salon buzz for our hair cuts and treatments... and they use kerastase products as well. it's just one of those (many) things that we let ourselves justify spending a wee bit more on since they really work (real hair magic happens when you mix some of these together too)! have you tried them? here are some of our favorites. in this case salon buzz told you so...#sbtys-

elixir ultime

lait vital

you can mix the exilir (above) with the lait vital pre blow dry and put it on your ends while your hair is still wet... helps tremendously with a fab blow out!

bain chroma riche

s's go to for color treated hair. must use both the shampoo and conditioner!

oleo relax masque

c has curly hair and this masque helps to the extreme to put moisture back into the hair to help with dryness and frizz.

Add An Avocado

who doesn't like avocado? we're not sure we trust people who don't like avocados (kidding, sorta). but a couple weeks ago we were intro'd to this new product by kiehls. it's been such a customer hit that it's been tough for them to keep it on their shelves. luckily c snagged a pot of it last week. we all got the chance to try it this past weekend when we had a sleep over for mother's day. we've gotta tell you, this is the best eye cream we have found yet! it's non-greasy and super moisturizing. it's difficult to put it into words, but it feels like you are putting a concentrated water under and around your eyes. it's creamy to touch, but then turns into almost like a liquid when you are smearing it on.
