Rent the Runway

let the holiday party circuit begin! and for us it begins this friday night...k, c, and i are going to our dad's company holiday party so of course, the golden question we immediately ask ourselves is, "what am i going to wear??"

i know you can all relate to this. there really is nothing more fun than plotting your outfit for a formal night out but at the same time, it can be really stressful. as ladies, we sometimes get hung up on not wanting to wear the same thing twice. it really is the best when you have a new dress to wear (oh, and don't forget new shoes too). ;) but you and i both know, we can't afford to do this all the time.

i greatly admire kate middleton for re-wearing a number of her dresses to all of her events.  but let's be honest, if you and i had her wardrobe of jenny packham, jimmy choo, alexander mcqueen and l.k. bennett, i guarantee we would have no problem re-wearing those beautiful pieces over and over again. so what is a non-princess to do?

recently, i "rented the runway" and now i am totally hooked. it was so easy and seamless, i can't wait to pick out my next party dress. i recommend sticking to designers you know fit your body well and are familiar with how their sizes fit. if you are not sure, they have amazing online agents that are able to answer any questions you might have on both style and fit. they also send you an extra size free of charge so you can be worry-free on whether the dress will fit leading up to your event.

here are some of the amazing dresses i am eyeing for my next holiday party...use the code RTR2013 to get 20% off your next purchase. #stys

  1. I rented the Badgley Mischka for a black tie wedding a few weeks back. It was AMAZING. Totally recommend it if you are considering.
