when we were in grade school, the skinny buddha surprised us xmas morning by telling us that we were flying to la for the golden globes, staying at the beverly hilton (they are held there every year) and had passes to the red carpet.
most. amazing. xmas. surprise. ever.
we had a jaw-dropping, "pinch-me" weekend that included meeting everyone from the likes of george clooney, heath ledger, the cast of 24, (shows you the year this was) to catherine zeta jones and julia roberts. s might have been interviewed by e!'s giuliana rancic on what she loved about hugh grant and giuliana was hilarious when she told skinny buddha to call our step-dad so she could say hello when she found out he was back home in chicago watching for us on tv. she told us she wanted to find a nice guy like him someday (and she did!). we have loved giuliana ever since, she truly is as down to earth and fun as she is gorgeous (we love that she has become a chicago girl after marrying chicago-native bill rancic).
